AccessBoxfest 2025 will take place at the Boxmoor Playhouse in Hemel Hempstead on the 1st February 2025. The public entrance is the main front door to the playhouse located on St. Johns Road.

SchedulesDoors opening: 6.30pm Start of show: 7.00pm Headliner: 9:45pm End of show: 11.00pm

Food and DrinkLight snacks, soft beverages and alcoholic beverages will be available from the bar on the night between 6.30pm and 10.45pm. We recommend bringing ID to the event and 'Check 25' will be in place.

CashWe recommend bringing any cash you may have to the event. We will have donation buckets across the venue on the night and every penny helps!

Lost & foundIf you loose anything during the event, please contact a member of staff as soon as possible. During the event, go to a member of front of house staff or the bar and let them know what you have lost. If you have left, send us an email and we will try find your items as quick as possible. If you believe to have had something stolen, contact us and the police. If you have found a lost item, please hand it to a member of staff or the bar. CarParking around the Boxmoor Playhouse is limited. We recommend using public transport (please check if running), a taxi, or walking. However, if these aren't options, parking can be found outside St Johns Church (HP1 1JY), on Beechfield Road (HP1 1PW) or at the Park Road car park (HP1 1JR).

BusThe closest bus stop to the Boxmoor playhouse is St Johns Church bus stop which is frequently served. Hemel Hempstead riverside bus station is a 10 minute walk from the playhouse. We would recommend checking if buses are running before you travel, especially when taking the journey home.

TrainHemel Hempstead train station is a 15 minute walk or a 5 minute drive to the Boxmoor Playhouse. Taxis and buses can easily be found from outside the front of the station. For those who will be travelling from Kings Langley, Watford, Berkhamsted or Tring, this would be an ideal option.

ChildrenAlthough a public event, open to all ages, children under the age of 15 MUST be accompanied by at least 1 responsible adult. Children under 18 will NOT be served alcohol and Boxfest holds no responsibility for the general safety and wellbeing of children.

Unauthorised itemsBoxfest 2025 will be a busy event and to ensure everyone's safety only a restricted number of items are allowed in the venue. Breech of this list may result in banning from the event and possible prosecution may be taken by Boxfest or the Boxmoor Playhouse. Banned items include: Glass bottles, Volatile substances Sharp objects, blades and knifes Objects likely to be used as projectiles Large rucksacks Explosive items and weapons of mass destruction All classes of illegal drugs Drones or UAVs Signs or banners of political, ideological, religious or advertising nature Radio and wireless signal jammers Folding home or camping furniture (folding chairs or beds)

SafetyAdequate security and wellbeing measures will be put in at the event to ensure everyone has a good time. Please plan your evening and be responsible.
